When I was 12 years old my grandparents gifted me my first computer, an Apple II. Once I learned how to create my own printed materials and graphics I was hooked. Upon enrolling at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and completing courses in photography, design, and book arts I discovered graphic design was the perfect fusion of those interests. I’ve been reveling in images, typography and colors ever since. Whether designing collateral, art directing photo shoots, or creating my own artist books, visual communication has always been my work.
Always curious, I find inspiration by learning about architecture, photographing nature, perusing tiny art (like my stamp collection) and reading lots of books. I notice interesting intersections within industries and methods that offer opportunities.
