The sun, shell, leaf and butterfly, all key elements in each scene, are also miniature books. Whether on a hook or nestled in place, each one can be removed for perusal.
Color, texture and layering of paper were all major factors in constructing each scene. All elements were individually hand cut. Mica was used as a secondary material.
